Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

We’re looking for a caring and reliable caregiver to support a 24-year-old young woman with her daily living activities and provide assistance with personal hygiene. Must be a compassionate and dedicated person who loves making a positive impact in someone's life. Able to use your own vehicle to transport her to her day program and appointments. Sharing in her love for music (especially Taylor Swift!), watching her favorite movie Beauty and the Beast, and engaging in creative activities like reading, writing, coloring, and drawing.

This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour

Schedule: Mon -Sun from 11am - 9pm (working some of the days and not all is possible)

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
Assisting with personal hygiene
Helping with transfers and mobility
Meal/snack preparation
Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment
Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to the park
Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
Complete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills

Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
Have a High School diploma or equivalent
Have a Valid Driver's license
Are 18 years of age or older
