Experienced Part-time Caregiver– Port Orange
Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.
The individual is a 17-year-old young man in need of a caregiver to support him with all ADL's including personal care, household chores, and activities. He likes to jump on the trampoline in his room and enjoys watching movies and cartoons.
This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour
Schedule: (Summer) Mon, Tues and Thurs from 9:30am - 3pm, Wed from 9:30am - 2pm (during school) Mon - Thurs from 3:30pm - 8pm

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
- Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
- Meal preparation and light cleaning
- Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
- Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide 1 year of caregiving experience
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Have a Valid Driver's license
- Are 18 years of age or older
